WORKSHOP - CLOSE-UP SHOT - DAY BUT DARK - INSIDE

Still setting the scene. The Walls and Floor. 


DISOLVE TO:


WORKSHOP - WIDE SHOT - DAY BUT DARK - INSIDE

Walls inside the workshop. 


DISOLVE TO:


WORKSHOP - INSIDE - DARK

Hostage (Chloe) tied up and in bondage.
Stressed out and scared. 
Close-up on her facials and emotions. 


DISOLVE TO:

WORKSHOP - OUTSIDE - DARKISH 

The 'Bad Guy' (Levi) walking towards garage door.
Holding a knife. 
Scraping it against wall as he walks.
Wide Shot 


DISOLVE TO:

FIELD - OUTSIDE - DAYLIGHT 

This is the Hostage's hallucinations.
Girl walking along the footpath.
'Bad Guy' jumps out of his car and grabs the girl. 

*HOSTAGE SCREAMS*
" Help, ahhhh, Help me "

'Bad Guy' hits her on the head.
She goes unconscious. 
Guy puts her in his car and drives off. 


DISOLVE TO:

WORKSHOP - OUTSIDE - DARKISH 

The man is standing outside His garage.
Over-the-shoulder shot.
As the Garage is scrolling Up, opening. 


DISOLVE TO:


WORKSHOP - INSIDE - LIGHTISH - DOOR OPEN

Different shot from inside, same scene.
Man walking in after the door has rolled up.


DISOLVE TO:

WORKSHOP - INSIDE - DARK

Back to the girl.
She's scared and trying to escape. 
Man comes. And antagonizes her. 
Then kills HER. 

FADE OUT: 

THE END.

Audience & Institutions Essay:

  "Audiences are not concerned with where media texts come from." To what extent do you agree with this? I n the film industry the majority of the Audiences are not concerned with where the media text comes from. But there are still a few that are, so this statement can vary in the film industry. The film industry consists of many different film companies, Disney, Paramount, Columbia, Warners Bros and Universal Pictures being the big Conglomerates of the film industry. These Conglomerates then acquire the smaller film companies who are then called the subsidiaries. These Conglomerates are the Oligopolies of the film industry, Oligopolies being ‘a small number of conglomerates that have the monopoly in the film industry’.  Disney, being one of these conglomerates, is a good example of a film company who has to aid to the wants of certain audiences because a particular audience was concerned with the media text of certain films.
